Episode 85: Drug Use & The Developing Brain

“This is your brain on drugs” has been a scare tactic used without much success.  What did they get wrong?  What were they right about?  The campaign to look at the dangers of drug use and the adolescent brain is warranted.  But, scaring kids about it has not worked.  How do we educate youth about the impacts of alcohol and drugs on the brain that won’t create distrust and can help them make better informed decisions?
