Episode 94: When is Gambling a Problem, But Not Problem Gambling?
A small percentage of the population is identified as having a problem gambling or gambling use disorder. A majority of people will be able to gamble without any problems or concerns. Because the percentage of those who have a problem with gambling is smaller it often goes unnoticed and unrecognized in relation to resource, support, education, prevention, and treatment. Does that small percentage truly capture the only problems caused by gambling or are we missing an entirely different percentage that is in need of gambling support?
